Doctor in the office: You have to titrate up on this new medication to the therapeutic level which takes 3-4 weeks. Here is how you do it. One pill one time a day for a week. Then one pill 2 times a day. Week 3, two pills two times per day.
A week later...get the prescription filled.
Incorrect Label on prescription bottle: 1 pill, two times a day
Me: Hmmmm...pointing this out to the pharmacist.
Pharmacist: OH yeah, I don't know. That's the prescription we got. Contact your doctor.
Me: Leave a portal message for doctor's office staff...
Nurse at Doctor's Office A WEEK LATER after no reply to portal message: OH yeah, well, I don't know, try two pills twice a day this week.
Me: Okay. Will I have difficulty getting this prescription filled again because of the incorrect prescription and label?
Nurse at Doctor's Office ANOTHER WEEK LATER: Oh, I don't think so. You have a refill left. (??????????????????)
A month later...trying to get a refill..........................
Pharmacist: Hmmmm...this should be different....Have you called your doctor's office?
Me: Facepalm.
